WHAT IS SKIRP?
SKIRP Oy genuinely cares about industrial workers and wants to improve their quality of life by reducing symptoms of musculoskeletal problems.
We have developed a fireproof (EN ISO 14116:2015) elbow protector in co-operation with South Karelian industrial companies, Saimaa Vocational College and the co-operative of the LAB University of Applied Sciences.
Made from recycled plastic bottles, the fireproof elbow protector is intended to improve the efficiency of work by reducing absences caused by musculoskeletal problems. This helps companies to increase their productivity.
Our product is protected by utility model in Finland, and SKIRP is a trademark approved in Finland and the EU. We were granted an innovation voucher by Business Finland for the development of our product.

SKIRP Oy’s invention was made for industrial work environments to reduce the physical load of workers. We are an environmentally responsible company with a specified product that reduces the pressure load and chafing of the upper limbs of welders, maintenance fitters and industrial inspectors.
